In honor of my pint-sized nephew, our big move to Chicago has a detour in my home state of Kentucky. Baby Parker is turning ONE in a few days, and I am so thankful to be home and celebrate a year of memories (mainly via FaceTime and daily photos on social media) with this sweet boy.
I’ll never forget when I found out my brother and his fiancée were expecting. My brother has been obsessed with babies ever since I can remember, he was destined to be a daddy. Each day I see him, my sister in law and my family with Parker, I can’t help but think how the best things in life are sometimes the most unplanned and unexpected.
If you can’t tell from his picture that he’s the sweetest, most happy go lucky baby, you’ll need to stop by on your next passing through Kentucky and hear his sweet baby giggle. He lights up the world and he’s everything I want in my (distant) future babies. For now, I am so blessed to be an aunt, and I can’t wait to celebrate my sweet Parker Thomas for the joy he has brought this past year! Cheers to you, Parker Pants!
