I feel like I’ve been going non-stop these past few weeks. Seriously, I looked at my planner and was like HOW is it August?! Well, busy days call for quickie routines and this teased bun is one of my go-to’s when I’m running on fumes and needing to get out the door. I paired this with an oversized Forever21 blazer (so happy I grabbed this in two colors – it’s so lightweight and functional!), and an all navy ensemble. I love wearing one solid color (it’s slimming!) in a neutral shade – that way I can repeat basic outfits by mixing them up with any color cardigan or blazer.

Anywhoo, I’m in the mid to final stages of decorating my house (does it ever actually end….) and I genuinely think it’s the most difficult part. Filling it was easy, finding spaces for the pieces I had accumulated over the years wasn’t a challenge, but picking out pieces to fit in the empty spots is starting to feel impossible. Most large canvases are so expensive and, in my opinion, look like those pre-loaded screensavers that come on your phone. With our first home I grabbed whatever I could get my hands on at Hobby Lobby to fill my walls. I promised myself I would wait until I found pieces that I adored and I’m so happy I’ve stuck to my guns on that (so far)! Do y’all have any tips on filling larger walls? Favorite décor places I need to check out? I would love to see your spaces – share away please!
Have a wonderful week babes!
