What’s that? A snack attack? No worries bestie, I’ve got you covered! 😉 One of the top 3 questions y’all had on my sailing with Virgin Voyages: “How was the food?” That’s how I know you’re my people! Have no fear. I’m here to break down the essential eats eats, dining hacks and notes on what you won’t want to miss for mealtime. Pack your stretchy pants, we’re diving into the unlimited eats on Virgin Voyages!
PLAN YOUR EATS
My biggest tip of all: book reservations! On our first sailing, Kali and I overlooked that and had a few evenings we weren’t able to dine at the specialty eateries. Don’t get me wrong, every restaurant has a dining option you’ll love, but the customized menus at their specialty spots is one of a kind! Booking your reservations prior to sailing is a breeze through the Virgin Voyages app. If sailing with friends, don’t forget to link your fellow sailors prior to making reservations. This makes it easy peasy to get reservations for your whole crew.
Forgot reservations? If you overlooked getting reservations booked prior to setting sail, head to your Virgin Voyages app once you’re on the ship. They open additional reservations once you’re aboard. We also realized some openings pop up on port days. Some groups are exhausted after a day of exploring, so check your app or visit the hostess stand to see if you’re able to squeeze in a dinner spot. If all else fails, book lunch reservations! There are usually more openings for these while on board and you don’t wanna miss out on trying the specialty restaurants!

👉🏼 Extra Virgin has the class of a restaurant in Italy with the lineup to feed the most basic pasta lovers. Their charcuterie appetizer will put your DIY at-home cheese trays to shame. 😂😂
👉🏼 Pink Agave is a modern spin on authentic Mexican dishes. 🌮 Mine and Mario’s personal fav on the ship, which is saying a lot since he’s used to authentic Mexican cooking! Don’t skip the dessert menu – their chocolate tacos are worth meal repeating.
👉🏼 Test Kitchen is right up your alley if you’re looking for specialty curated, art-worthy eats. Each part of the meal is curated to satisfy your sight just as much as your tastebuds. 😉
👉🏼 Razzle Dazzle is the spot to see if you’re craving American eats! It exceeds burgers and fries, although those are a delicacy! 🍔✨ Their veggie-friendly options made them an instant favorite for my list. The brunch selection is top tier and the avocado toast was a crowd favorite.
👉🏼 The Wake was easily our overall group favorite. Their steakhouse setup and wide selection of filling options made for an easy, top-tier dinner for even the pickiest eaters. Don’t skip their bread basket appetizer – it’s a must!
👉🏼 BONUS: celebrating something while sailing? The Celebration Package gives you bottomless brunch sips & a specialty curated dinner dessert menu! We added this since there were so many birthdays in our crew and the brunch was one of our favorite meals the entire trip!
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
If you’re on the hunt for something to eat with a less specific menu and a variety of options, The Galley is your spot! You can get a mix of meals, from build-your-own salads, burritos, breakfast and more. I swear, each time we board I always head straight there for one of their amazing salads. You can dine on a mix of eats or stick with a palette from one restaurant within their eateries. There’s something all the more exciting about having a veggie burrito, fresh fries and ending with pancakes that hits all your cravings in the best of ways. 😂😂
One of the best parts about The Galley? Their bento boxes are available 24/7 while sailing! There is a great mixed selection based on what time of day you stop in for a snack. The breakfast boxes usually have fruit, breakfast bars or oats. Mid-day and evening eats range from keto-friendly meat and cheese boxes, sushi and wraps.
LATE NIGHT BITES
On the hunt for a midnight bite after dancing the night away? Look no further: The Pizza Place is your spot for customized pizzas! While open an array of hours, this always makes my list as an evening essential when on board with Virgin Voyages. Their pizzas are made completely fresh, customized with all the toppings you’re craving!
Another perk: Virgin Voyages bento boxes in the galley are stocked up for late night snacks. I love the mix of flavors they offer, while Mario stuck with a tried and true sushi snack each night!
The Galley has late night eats, making it easy to find something anytime while sailing. Stop in for a breakfast sandwich or burger whenever a craving hits!
SPECIALTY SIPS
What’s Included: Get all of your essentials, ranging from sodas and juices, all included in your voyage. If you’re craving an over-the-top coffee, customized juice or energy drink, they’re a scan away for a minimal upgrade.
Alcoholic Options : If you’re searching for bubbly or a round of alcoholic drinks, look no further! Virgin has the best pricing + selection when it comes to ship sips! Utilizing your Sailor Loot is as simple as scanning your wristband. The guys in our group loved the beer bucket specials while we were poolside. My personal favorite? Grabbing a bottle of champagne, starting at $30. Their cocktail and full bar menu accommodate any budget.
…but the best part? Daily Happy Hour with bottomless champagne. That’s right! Rockstar Wristbands get you Richards Rooftop Happy Hour access, making for a bubbly treat you won’t want to miss. My bestie, Kali, and I have acquired a taste for champagne and decided it’s our preferred drink of choice! Who can resist bottomless bubbles with the most dreamy views?
