TIP TUESDAY: PHOTO EDITING
Hey sis! Do you wanna get into blogging? Are you just want to elevate your IG feed but don’t know where to start? DON’T go buy a fancy camera! I’m here to give you the 411 on a few of my favorite apps for keeping my feed consistent, colorful and put together.
- PREVIEW: I use this to plan what photo I should post next. It helps prevent me from posting too many with the same pose, color or outfit. It doesn’t usually populate my previously posted Reels, so I have to visualize that on my own.
- CANVA: This is awesome for all aspects of influencing! It’s how I make covers for my videos with cute text and colors. They have a ton of fonts, layouts and styles in the free version. I’ve converted to the paid version for a few of the features that save me time/effort from doing them myself. I also use Canva for designing all of my invitations and cards!
- LIGHTROOM: Presets are key! Lightroom allows you to add a preset, but also edit as needed per photo. I love how consistent it makes my feed look and feel. You can get Instagram Presets in tons of places. Just know you’ll probably have to adjust each a little for your personal photos.
- FACETUNE: I have the paid version of it for some of the advanced features! It helps me with brightening photos in a different way than Lightroom. My favorite feature is “color” because it allows me to really enhance colors throughout my pictures.
- SNAPSEED: The “expand” feature allows you to make the background larger so you can “resize” an image. It’s not foolproof and won’t work for every photo, but it’s really helped me when I want something to “fit” as an IG photo without cropping my head or something.
Regardless of why you’re wanting to re-vamp your photos, I know you’ll love some of the apps I’ve shared. Keep in mind, portrait mode on your iPhone is your bff. Influencer friends, what apps did I leave out?! I’m excited to hear your favorites!
