This shoot was so fun to do while expecting! I’ve done my fair share of wearing standard sizing in place of maternity pieces, but I was really nervous about selecting a more formal piece that might not be as forgiving. One of the biggest struggles for bridesmaids is finding something that works for your entire bridal party. When attending events, I gravitate to the fancier end of a dress code. I’ll always lean towards long dresses over shorter options. Also, make sure you’ll have some freedom on the dance floor! Suffocating under a gown or picking something with tons of bulky skirt layers can make for a long, hot evening! I adore patterns, but sometimes going for a bit more muted option allows you to get away with being an outfit repeater for later events.
