Can y’all believe we’re just a few short weeks from Valentine’s Day? I’ve heard so many bloggers saying how January just drags on and on, but I swear it’s totally flown by. I wanted to pop over and share a few of my absolute favorite looks for Valentine’s attire – these pieces are perfect for a night out with your boo thing or your besties! The best part? Everything is $25 or under!
Y’all were swooning over this jumpsuit when I shared over on insta-stories a few weeks ago. It’s honestly the most flattering item hanging in my closet and I’m grabbing it in a few more colors as we speak! I’m usually a small but went with a medium because I ordered it the week of an event and didn’t want to risk it not fitting. I would say you should be fine going with your normal size, but I don’t mind it being a bit looser – the legs seem to be even more wide-legged which I love!
There’s nothing more confusing than “evening cocktail attire” being listed as the dress code for an event. Should I do a short dress? Will there be ladies in floor-length gowns? Being under-dressed is one of my biggest fears. This jumpsuit has a lot more structure than the previous one, and with the covered shoulders it really felt super appropriate for an event with professional contacts. I went with a medium in this and it fit like a glove, so if you have wider hips (like me!), I suggest going up a size. I’m about 5’4 and had on 3.5 inch heels – if you’re 5’7 or taller, you would probably want to pair with flats. 
I told y’all during my try-on sesh that this pretty little thing was getting returned, but I couldn’t resist trying it on again and think I’m in love. It comes in so many colors and would work for almost any shape. Dresses like this are perfect to have on hand because they’re dressy enough for an evening wedding, but you could also pair with nice sandals and wear for dinner on vacay. For sizing reference, I’m in the small and wish I had gone with an XS due to the top being looser than I would like. There’s a bit more detail on this in the reviews!
